Viscount gets entertainment center contract

VANCOUVER, British Columbia —Viscount Systems, a provider of IT-based security software and services, announced in December that it has been awarded contracts to provide an integrated telephone entry and access control solution to a large sports and entertainment center in British Columbia.

Viscount, the access control system that is software-based and does not have a panel, will be highly visible at ASIS, according to CEO Dennis Raefield.
Raefield joined Viscount at COO in December of 2013 and became CEO of the company, replacing Steve Pineau, in January of 2014. Viscount Systems secures Eastern bank facilities

BURNABY, British Columbia—Viscount Systems' Freedom access control technology is being installed by a regional bank with operations in Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky, according to a company statement.
The systems include Freedom IP bridges, servers and software. They will be deployed as a retrofit, replacing the bank's existing access control systems.
