Honeywell and 2GIG settle patent infringement lawsuit

MELVILLE, N.Y.—In a settlement announced today, 2GIG Technologies will pay to license Honeywell technology covered in the so-called “148 Patent.” Other terms of the settlement remain confidential.
In a joint announcement, Honeywell and 2GIG Technologies said the settlement resolves the nearly two-year-old patent infringement lawsuit filed by Honeywell in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York on November 24, 2009.
